By placing an order with Atelier La Meuse, you agree to these terms and conditions. Please read them carefully before making a purchase.

2. Products and Pricing
- We sell both stock paintings and custom-made artworks.
- Prices for custom artworks depend on the customer’s specific requests and will be communicated during the consultation process.
- Shipping costs are excluded from the product price and will vary depending on the customer's location.
- Customers are responsible for any import duties or taxes applicable in their country.
3. Payment Terms
- Payments can be made via bank transfer or PayPal.
For custom-made products:
- Full payment is required upfront before we begin the painting process, unless otherwise agreed.
- If approved, customers may pay in two installments:
- The first installment is due immediately upon agreement.
- The second installment must be paid before the painting is shipped.
For stock paintings:
- Full payment is required immediately upon purchase. These products are shipped promptly after payment is received.
4. Shipping and Delivery
- Orders are shipped via postal services. Delivery times and costs depend on the destination.
- Atelier La Meuse cannot be held responsible for delays caused by postal or customs processes.
5. Right of Withdrawal
- Customers have the right to withdraw from the purchase within 14 days of receiving the product, unless the product was custom-made to the customer's specifications.
- To exercise the right of withdrawal, customers must notify us via email and return the item in its original condition. Shipping costs for returns are the responsibility of the customer.
6. Warranty
- Our paintings are created with the utmost care and high-quality materials. However, due to the nature of art and materials used, minor imperfections or variations are inherent and are not considered defects.
- Customers may contact us within 14 days of receipt if they believe the artwork has been damaged during transport or has a defect unrelated to its artistic nature. We will assess the situation and provide an appropriate resolution if applicable.
7. Liability
- Atelier La Meuse is not liable for damage resulting from incorrect handling, exposure to unsuitable environments (e.g., humidity or direct sunlight), or failure to follow maintenance instructions provided with the artwork.
8. Governing Law
- All agreements and disputes are governed by Dutch law.
9. Amendments to Terms and Conditions
- Atelier La Meuse reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions. Customers will be notified of any significant changes before they apply to new purchases.
